Echo Laundering

Most laundering scripts are a progress bar that takes a cut. This one is a business your players have to defend.

PLACE IT ANYWHERE

Players buy a washing machine item and place it themselves, anywhere in the world. No fixed locations, no map markers pointing police at a building you configured six months ago.

Where the operation lives is a decision your players make, and a secret they have to keep.

ACCESS IS A REAL SYSTEM

Every machine locks. Owners manage keyholders directly through the interface — add someone, remove someone, instantly.

That makes a machine something a gang shares, a partner gets cut out of, and a rival wants the key to. Locked machines still get broken into; the lock is a defence, not a guarantee.

PROGRESSION THAT PAYS

The default cut is 35%, fully configurable. Players lower it by working for it.

Completing missions levels the operation up: the tax rate drops, efficiency climbs, margins improve. The missions get harder and more dangerous as they go. A mature operation is meaningfully more profitable than a new one, and the player earned every point of that margin.

POLICE CAN DISMANTLE IT

Officers seize dirty money. They confiscate machines as evidence. They shut operations down.

Because progression is tied to the machine, a raid is not a slap on the wrist — it costs the crew the thing they spent weeks building. That gives your police investigative work worth doing and your criminals something real to lose.

RIVALS CAN TAKE IT

Other players and gangs break into machines and steal washed money.

Turf, protection, and retaliation stop being flavour text the moment there is a physical box full of somebody else's cash sitting in a warehouse.

UI colour, base tax rate, mission difficulty and structure, marked bill item, wash times, wash limits, props, interaction settings, and economy balance are all config.
